AVIATION

AvroLITE™ Ducting

An extremely light-weight and rapidly deployable industrial-grade flexible tube used to transfer chilled or heated air to aircraft or work-spaces. 

 

FEATURES:

  • Manufactured with hi strength lock-stitch sewn construction.

  • 3x lighter weight than other PVC products in the Aviation Market without compromising durability, strength and performance.

  • Industrial strength fabric with urethane topcoat applied to the exterior.

  • Three-ply reinforced insulation composition includes a closed-cell foam thermal barrier.

  • Our closed-cell foam insulation is sealed into a water-tight cavity and does not absorb or retain moisture from condensation. The insulation also includes a foil-faced surface which reduces temperature rise.

  • AvroLITE™ compacts better for storage and deployment.

  • AvroLITE™ has natural built in abrasion-resistance making it a more durable product.

  • AvroLITE™ performs better in puncture, burst and tensile Strength tests.

  • A smooth inner wall and reduce airflow resistance.

FABRIC:

High Strength 10oz urethane coated textile. This tuff-coat fabric is flexible, fire resistant (self-extinguishing) and provides enhanced resistance to UV rays, mold and mildew.

AvroDUCT™ Ducting

A wire reinforced industrial-grade flexible duct used to transfer chilled or heated air to aircraft or work-spaces.

 

FEATURES:

  • Reinforced with a high tensile spring wire especially intended for high stresses and reduced flex-fatigue and kinking.

  • Materials and product assembly reduce weight without compromising quality or durability.

  • Phthalate Free PVC ensures the highest standards for air quality and safety.

  • This insulated product line is constructed using a three-ply PVC composition.

  • AvroDUCT™ is available in insulated and non-insulated configurations.

  • Our closed-cell foam insulation is sealed into a water-tight cavity and does not absorb or retain moisture from condensation. The insulation also includes a foil-faced surface which reduces temperature rise.

  • A heavy-duty extruded wearstrip wraps around the duct body to reduce wear from dragging and handling.

  • Available in sewn construction as well.
